Supporting WTM WRTD for another year, Celticos Ltd will be highlighting the day on their website and in their 2012 news. Celticos work with local organisations to bring you closer the local community, give you a greater understanding of the local culture and language, heritage and environment.

Charity Challenge will be supporting and highlighting WTM WRTD by educating their clients, sending out correspondence with the logo and information on what the World Travel Market achieves in terms of Responsible Tourism. Charity Challenge have a number of trips scheduled on Wednesday 7 November 2012 and are planning video blogs with the local leaders, taking their clients to visit projects that they donate to and sending out newsletters to each of their participants about WRTD and its importance within the tourism sector.

Discover Travel & Tours, UK – UKI400
Discover Travel & Tours will be highlighting WTM WRTD by sending their clients a Newsletter to celebrate the date and their Eco Discovery Rail Tours. A fact sheet will be created specifically to be shared with attendants of the WTM show celebrating WRTD 2012 and Eco Discovery Rail Tours, Bed & Breakfast, National Parks, Wales and Scotland Natural Treasures. Discover Travel & Tours are also planning to send out a personalized letter to all their clients travelling on Wednesday 7 November on their Rail Tours, thanking them for booking their tour and reminding them that they have been an important agent of sustainable tourism, helping the environment and the local communities by choosing Eco Discovery Rail Tours. The organization is also taking part in a private project at a local school that is related to tourism and the environment as seen by children aged 6 to 8 years old.

Equatours Limited will be supporting WTM WRTD for the first time this year and they will be highlighting the day via their website, social media outlets, and a newsletter dedicated to the event. The Directors of Equatours are also planning to climb Kilimanjaro in support of African Tails, they will begin their climb on 29 September, which is being organised by Tanzanian company Big Expeditions (also a WTM WRTD logo approved user), and they will be highlighting their climb in their WTM WRTD Newsletter.

Highlighting and supporting WTM WRTD for another year. WRTD will mark the beginning of their relationship with local school Sparks of Genius. Hello Scotland will be visiting the school and local Colquhoun Primary to work together to help the schools established Eco School Project. The project will involve various activities to promote school action on environmental issues. |

ICRT, UK
ICRT (The International Centre for Responsible Tourism) will be supporting and highlighting WTM WRTD 2012 through their Sao Paulo and London Conferences in June of this year. ICRT will be highlighting WTM WRTD on the conference websites and by explaining the importance of the day during each conference. Both conferences will address the progress since Rio in 1992 and Cape Town in 2002.

Just a Drop, UK
Just a Drop’s aim is to contribute positively to the reduction of child mortality caused through poor sanitation and dirty water and to actively reduce the numbers of people without access to clean water. Working with local partners - at a grassroots level – they provide a local, clean water supply through appropriate engineering solutions to some of the poorest communities in the world - constructing wells, boreholes, pipelines, hand pumps and latrines. They also strive to improve health and sanitation education by running WASH (Water and Sanitation Hygiene) programmes alongside their work. To date, their projects have reached an estimated 1.5 million people in 30 countries from Afghanistan to Zambia.

Supporting WTM WRTD for a second year, Kaya Responsible Travel is planning to highlight WTM WRTD through their facebook page, twitter and blog page for one week beginning 5 November. They are also looking at daily posts on responsible tourism and encouraging people to add their stories of ways of how they can travel more responsibly, and share their examples of responsible travel initiatives that they have come across in their travels. Kaya Responsible Travel will also highlight the day in their newsletters prior to WTM WRTD.

The organization specializes in creating tours to Latin America with a particular focus on ensuring clients are able to interact with Latin American people and learn about their culture and environment. |

Leeds Metropolitan University, UK
Leeds Metropolitan University will be supporting and highlighting WTM WRTD 2012 by launching their European training program in Sustainable Tourism on Wednesday 7 November. Project Management for European Sustainable Development (PM4ESD) is a new EU training tool and qualification program that will equip professionals with the tools necessary for effective project management. Individuals will be trained to act as trainers to share this knowledge and expertise across the European tourism industry and its varied sectors. The objective of this "Train the Trainers" program is to enhance the ability for industry professionals to manage projects that are intended to represent the characteristics of the Cape Town Declaration of Responsible Tourism. |

The organisation will also be highlighting their Wildlife and Nature Walks on their farmland that they have recently developed together with their newly acquired benches, ponds and information leaflets that can be found en route. |

Manila Club London will be supporting WTM WRTD for another year and will be highlighting the day on their company website and Trust website. Every year they help with a project that involves a school and this year they will be helping the "Bagong Buhay Elementary School". The organization supplies chairs, text books and school supplies for the school and will again be taking part in the 2012 Official London 10k run being held on July 8th to help raise funds.

Supporting WTM WRTD for the first time this year, Sark Island Hotels will be highlighting the day with a special programme for all of their guests. The programme will take them around their estate showing them their eco initiatives and explaining how they work alongside the local community to become a more sustainable business and a sustainable island. They will also promote WTM WRTD on each of their websites, at their tourism office together with a specially designed menu that will encompass sustainable produce sourced locally.

Supporting WTM WRTD for the first time this year, Useeka Travel will be, amongst other activities, working with the Travel Foundation, as part of its strategic partnership to promote more sustainable travel and providing all its travelling customers with green travel guides and tips. Additionally, they will be using their marketing channels, including; social media, Email marketing and PR activity to promote WTM WRTD and sustainability in tourism, their projects with industry partners and engaging with travellers to raise awareness of responsible ways to travel and engage with communities.
