Australia For All Alliance have constructed an international website entirely devoted to accommodation and leisure venues which are accessible to people with disabilities and will be highlighting WTM WRTD 2012 on all their communications.

Centroc, Australia
Supporting WTM WRTD for the first time this year, Centroc is the first local authority to be awarded the WTM WRTD logo. Centroc will be highlighting WTM WRTD with its newly implemented programme to build community food security, social resilience and local economic development. The programme harnesses the value of visitor expenditure to make Central NSW a better place to live in and a better place to visit. The programme also demonstrates an integrated whole of government and community approach, involving Centroc, Central NSW Tourism, government grant funding and local councils and community groups. |

Coast to Coast Tours, New Zealand
Coast to Coast Tours provide unique small group tours around the region where the owner’s family has lived and farmed since 1922. To celebrate WTM WRTD they will be planting a tree for 2012 which will be designated tag number E07 and the progress of which can be followed on their website. Coast to Coast Tours will also highlight the day on their Facebook page which they will link to a special WTM WRTD post on their website together with a news article in Infonews. |

Crystal Creek Meadows, Australia Crystal Creek Meadows will be highlighting WRTD by conducting a pro-environmental education programme involving their guests who will try to minimize their carbon footprint during their stay. The guests will also be given responsible educational information about ways to enjoy fun holidays while being mindful of the impact they have. There will also be a community education programme that stimulates tourism providers to take Responsible action and minimise their negative environmental impacts and student field trips with practical educational activities about pro-environmental actions: conservation, Climate Change mitigation, food production. All these activities are being planned and measured to determine the effectiveness of providing increased environmental education with practical advice on how to make practice change. Ecotourism Australia is supporting WTM WRTD for a third year and will be highlighting the day during their Global ECO Asia Pacific Conference, attracting delegates from around the Asia Pacific region.

Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association, Australia Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association will be highlighting and supporting WTM WRTD by concentrating on two responsible tourism areas; conservation and interpretation of their cultural heritage, The Hampden Bridge project and building local economic development through art and food promotion to visitors with their Art & Soul book and trails. |

Matava – Fiji’s Eco Resort, Fiji Islands
Supporting WTM WRTD for the second year, Matava – Fiji’s Eco Resort will be highlighting the day with their pioneering Community Organic Honey Program. This is a new program launched this year and partnering with local community bee keepers in Kadava. The honey is to be split 50/50 between private and community bee keepers and will help with organic farming both in terms of pollination and honey collection. |

Savannah Guides Ltd, Australia
Supporting WTM WRTD for the first time this year, Savannah Guides will be highlighting the day by holding their Nitmiluk National Park Guides School themed “Working together – Savannah Guides Partnerships”. Bringing together around 50 tour guides, tour operators, Rangers, researchers and community organisations to share knowledge on how tourism can assist in conservation and cultural awareness across northern Australia. The school participants will be interviewed on responsible tourism issues and this will culminate in the publication of a special Savannah Guides World Responsible Tourism Day Newsletter on 7 November that will be distributed through tourism networks and promoted through Savannah Guides Facebook. |

Highlighting WTM WRTD for another year, Sudbury Heights will be highlighting the day on their website, advertising media and their local newspapers. They will also be promoting WTM WRTD through their 5 Star Accommodation Group throughout New Zealand.

Travel 21fiftythree, Australia
Supporting WTM WRTD for the first time this year, Travel 21fiftythree will be highlighting WTM WRTD by holding an expo on 7 November 2012. This expo will be supported by their local Tourism body together with regional sustainable tourism operators to educate local participants in tourism about the benefits of sustainable tourism practices in their choice of holiday.
